Bob Patterson has a true passion for business. He enjoys consulting with clients in areas of profitability, revenue and expense trends, internal controls, and fraud detection. His expertise includes the design and implementation of enhanced systems and techniques with the primary goal to help business owners better understand their business and become more successful. Bob is a Certified Public Accountant, licensed in Kentucky & Florida, and is a Certified Fraud Examiner and Certified Global Management Accountant.
Prior to founding Patterson & Company, Bob was the President, CEO, and a partner in Consumers Choice Coffee. Under his direction, the company became the undisputed leader servicing the finest restaurants, hotels, convenience stores, and professional offices throughout the Ohio Valley and beyond. The company was recognized dozens of times for its sales and financial performance as well as its industry standard customer service.
Recent business awards included the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Blue Ribbon Award, Top 100 Fastest Growing Companies in America’s Inner City, Top 50 Fastest Growing Company in Louisville, the SBA Kentucky Small Business of the Year, finalist for the Better Business Bureau Torch Award for Ethics in Business Practices, and many others. He was most recently named the Kentucky’s CPA Leader in Industry by the KY Society of CPAs. However, he is most proud of the many customer service accolades his team was awarded from their customers under his leadership.
Bob earned his Masters in Accounting, with distinction, and Bachelors in Business Management from Liberty University and his Undergraduate Accounting Certificate from the University of Louisville. He currently serves as the President of the Kentucky Society of Certified Public Accountants and is active on several community boards. He is an instrument rated pilot for land and sea.
