Coffee may make you a better negotiator

According to a recent study published in the European Journal of Social Psychology, you should drink coffee while participating in a negotiation. The study found that the more caffeine you consume, the less likely you are to budge in the negotiation.

The study says that “attitudes formed after caffeine consumption resisted counter persuasion and led to indirect attitude change.” Their reasoning goes that this will more likely lead to “greater agreement” during the interaction. Fascinating!
